Club History
Worcester City Football club was formed on 9th September 1902 following the liquidation of another local side,
Berwick Rangers. After leaving the Birmingham League, Worcester City entered the Southern League and remained
there until the formation of the Alliance Premier (now Conference) in 79.
City stayed in the top division before suffering an unexpected relegation in 1984/5
(the club had been top of the league before Christmas).
Many fruitless years followed, until the club gained acceptance to the new Nationwide North when the league was formed in 2004/5.
