Club History
Formed in 1963, Wellings history includes humble beginnings as an u-15 Sunday youth team and 14 years in the Conference. Once progressed to senior football three promotions occurred within 5 years. Initially winning the Spartan League and then the Athenian League & election to the Southern League in 81. One season later a place in the re-structured Southern League Premier was acheived. In the fifth season in this division the Wings romped to the title and promptly got promoted to the Conference.
