  Club History

Until June 2003 the club was known as Purfleet FC and was founded in 1985, the club were promoted from the Essex Senior League in 87/88 to Isthmian League Div Two North, finishing runners up in their first season and so promoted to div 1, although relegated in their first season. They were champions of the re-structured div 2 in 91/92. Promotion to the league's Premier div as champions was acheived in 93/94. The club narrowly missed out on promotion to the conference finishing fourth in both 98/99 and 99/00. More..
