  Club History

Formed in 1989 by supporters of former league club Newport County and known as The Exiles because of the need to play their first season outside Wales yet still won the Hellenic double and promotion to the Southern League. After 2 seasons back home came a further 2 seasons of exile until legal action saw them return home. Their 1st season back home in 94-95, saw them promoted to Premier Div. Relegated back to the Midland div in 98 they were promoted again the next year. More...
