  Club History

Formed in 1870, the Club were one of the original 15 entrants for the first ever FA Cup competition in 1871-72. Maidenhead entered the Southern League in 1894, after Second World War they entered the Corinthian League. In six seasons between 1956 and 1962 the club won the title three times. In 1963 United joined the Athenian League, in 1973 were elected into the new Isthmian League 2nd Division but were relegated in 87, promoted back in 91 and stayed there until securing their place in the Premier Division for the 2001/02 season.
