  Club History

Hampton's early years were spent in local Leagues. In 59 they entered the Surrey Senior League. In 64 they won it and entry to the Spartan League, winning it four times. In 71 they were elected to the Athenian League & in 73 to the Isthmian, where they stayed til relegated in 90, two regional Divs (2nd & 3rd) were formed in 91, they found themselves one place below the dividing line and were relegated to the 3rd Div. A year later the club was promoted at the Isthmian AGM to fill a vacancy in the Second Division and so began the recovery.
