  Club History

Eastleigh FC in its present form came into being as recently as 1980, but the roots of the Club go back to 1946 when Swaythling Athletic was formed. Following the name change to Eastleigh, the club became founder members of the Wessex League in 86. In 2003 the club were runaway winners gaining promotion to the Southern League Eastern Div, finishing fourth in their first season gained them a place in the re-structured Isthmian Premier. A run of fourteen unbeaten matches at the end of last season gained 3rd place and winning the play-offs meant that the club were promoted to the Conf South. More..
