Steve Perrin
Goalkeeper Steve signed for his second spell with City during the latter stages of the 2006-07 season to provide cover for then no.1 Paul Evans, a role he has continued ever since. He first played at Twerton Park in 2004 when he joined on loan from Forest Green Rovers to become the sixth keeper City used in the first three months of the season. Went onto play eight games and it was no coincidence that only once, at Peterbrough United also in the FA Cup, did he find himself on the losing side. Was recalled to Forest Green Rovers midway through the second month of his loan spell after their first choice keeper was injured. Originally joined Rovers in 1998 from his home town side Melksham Town and went onto make over 200 appearances. Left in July 2005 to join Chippenham Town where he spent 18 months before severing his connections with the Bluebird's after they sacked his brother, Darren, as manager. Continues to play for Melksham when not required by City.
