Club History
Bath AFC was formed in 1889. Bath City began life at the Belvoir ground in the Western League. In 1921, City joined the Southern League. City moved to their new home, Twerton Park in 1933 winning the Western Div of the Southern League. The 59-60 season saw City win the Southern League, a yo-yo period followed where they were relegated three times and promoted three times betweeen 64 and 74. In 78 they applied for election to the football league after winning the Southern League but were beaten by Wigan. The following year they finished 5th and gained a place in the newly formed Alliance premier, where they remained until relegation 9 years. More..
